There are quite a few palaces in Seville (casas-palacio in Spanish). They are a big houses owned by the wealthiest families of Sevilla and built, generally, in the 16th century. This historical period is known as the Golden Age of Seville due to its port which held the monopoly of trade with the Americas. Everyone  wanted to take part in the city, and so do we.
