How to get to Seville?

The capital of Andalucía has very good transport connections so there’s no reason not to come to this beautiful city.

  • By plane: Seville’s airport (SVQ) houses daily flights from different European cities. A bus can take you to the city centre from the airport for 4€ (6€ round trip). See more details at Sevilla Airport City Buses Web. You can also take a taxi that will cost you between 15€ - 25€.

Although Seville hasn’t got a main international airport, it’s close to Malaga’s one (AGP). It won’t take you more than 3h to arrive in Seville (by bus, train or car). Good connections between Madrid’s Barajas international Airport (MAD) are also available by high-speed trains (AVE).

  • By train: travellers can get to Seville by train from Madrid, as said before. You can also plan daytrips from Seville’s train station (Santa Justa) to nearby cities such as Córdoba, Cádiz or Huelva. See rates and schedules at Renfe Trains Site.

  • By bus: major cities such as Madrid and Barcelona serves bus transport to Seville. Check Madrid-Seville bus company here. Check Barcelona-Seville bus company here (sorry, no English version available). You’ll find two bus stations in Seville: Plaza de Armas (the main one) and Prado de San Sebastián.
